Payday lenders are threatening to prosecute me for fraud can they do this?
Back in 2004 I got a few payday loans and I guess I got more than I can handle. In early 2005 my bank forced me to close my account, and I had to take out a loan through them to pay them back. So after that I opened a new account and had my direct deposit changed. Now I am getting phone calls from these places threatening to pursue criminal charges because they have my social security number in a database, and that a warrant was going to be sent out for my arrest? Then they ask me how I want to take care of it, of course I make payment arrangements. I am afraid of my phone ringing because now that I am paying these people I can’t afford to pay any more other ones until this one is taken care of. If I can’t pay can they have me prosecuted? I am scared that if I don’t have the money that I am going to go to jail, what should I do?

Contact ur local county attorney.
These people are scum bottom suckers.
In many places they do not conform to legal lending laws.
They violate federal lending and collection laws when they want.

Are there any payday loans you can get if you only have a netspend account with direct deposit?
I live in Wisconsin-the account is considered checking and has a routing number, but most lenders wont accept it-they say it is ‘blacklisted’. What does this mean?

They have been fooled too many times with this type of “account”. Too easy for you to close it up overnight and leave them with no “protection”. They are not allowed to “blacklist” a bank. You might find one lender in town who will accept your account. Keep calling.

Please avoid these at all costs!!! Get an extra job instead, deliver pizzas, throw papers. Money is called “currency” for a reason. It is like the ocean, constantly moving.
You end up paying 100% plus interest on these. I have two co-workers that did these type of loans and it got them in huge trouble b/c they were not able to pay the loan back with their next check. They were still in the same boat as the previous month, not enough money, mainly b/c they spent on what they didnt need, but also b/c the payday loan or cash advance was a short term fix to a long term problem.
Taking out one of these type of loans will cost you dearly!!!

I am looking for a payday loan, I have a checking account, direct deposit, decent credit, steady job history, a great ability to repay… etc.
My only problem is that it is Friday night, and I cannot wait until Tuesday. Anyone know of a Payday Lender that can do it sooner?

Unfortunatly, I have very few other ideas of what to do. If borrowing from friends or family was an option, I think I would have done so already. WE are normally who other people borrow money from! I really think that I am out of options right now.
